Oxford #2: The High Street

This is how Oxford High street looks on a cloudy day. This is the center of the city and it has a history over 1000 years. The pictures you see below are of the same place but captured in different time periods. The first one from bottom was taken in 1906 and the second one was taken during 1960s. If you compare all three photographs, you can easily observe that the street has not changed much over time except the street is not as broad now as it was in 1900s.
Oh yeah, the last two photographs(from bottom) weren't taken by me ;)
Oxford #1: Radcliffe Camera

'Radcliff Camera' is one of the architectural wonders of England. Dr.John Radcliff wanted to build a Library to accommodate books on Science. The building was designed by architect Gibbs who was responsible for many famous historical buildings in London. It was built in 1748. Now it serves as a reading room of Bodleian Library.
